Skateboard Street Finals
The Street course met the athletes with mixed reviews depending on whom you were talking to. Some athletes liked the condensed, tight course. However the general feel was that it was too tight, not enabling many athletes time to set up for their next trick. 1999 WST Street Champion, Pat Channita scored a disappointing 82.00 points in his second run to garner 12th overall and had it with the course after two frustrating runs. "The course is too tight to maneuver, I'm over it", said a disgruntle Channita on his way from the venue. The King of San Francisco, Chris Senn finished up 20th after three dismissal runs and couldn't believe his performance, "I need to go home now"! Were his thoughts on the afternoon. Freshly off his Gold Medal performance in Vert, Andy Macdonald had his whole family on hand as he tried to enjoy the circuit in route to a 9th place finish. Final Results Skateboard Street
