After the biggest payday of his prosperous career at the Gravity Games, Brian Deegan came out to his home crowd to show the moves that netted him $20,000 a week ago. Deegan was joined by ten of the best Freestyle Motocross athletes in the World as they tackled a unique course design that combined ramp and dirt hits with dirt landings and two berms connecting two straight (each with three hits) to make a mini oval track. The course was great to watch as the athletes needed to ride conservatively and smooth to combine each straight, yet needed to bust big air and huge tricks to garner points from the judges. Each rider was given two, 90-second runs to complete as many jumps and tricks they could muster from the oval course before a winner was declared.

The final rounds saw eight athletes competing for the top prize of $6,000. In the end it was Brian Deegan's day as he went out and scored the most points from each of the two rounds. Deegan has been practicing his freestyle tricks lately, as each of his moves have become more defined and executed. With moves like the mulitia- march, one-handed- superman -seat -grab and no-footed-cans, Deegan easily won the super event. Mr. Smooth, Tommy Clowers broke from his disappointing fourth place finish at last weekends Gravity Games to pick up second place. "Tom Cat" used moves like the cat- walk, seat- walk and one- handed -superman -seat grabs to impress judges and go home $5,000 richer. Mike Cinqmars pulled out a third place finish by throwing the sickest whip anyone has seen in a long time. "Cinq Rat" would throw his bike past flat, to go inverted and sideways before bringing his bike around for the landing where it looked as though he was still crossed up upon each landing. It was incredible! Cinqmars also put moves like the superman-indians and pendulums in his run to secure third place money.
Trevor Vines, Clifford Adoptante and Ronnie Faisst all kept the top three guys honest with their moves. Clifford still does insane cordovas and supermans. Faisst always throws a kung-fu chop or two and has been practicing his one-handed -seat grabs. Vines has an interesting choreographed trick method. He has his girl talk to him on a headset about halfway through the run to tell him what tricks he needs to do. By the end of the run, Vines has done everyone of his tricks! Once again, freestyle brings out new technology.
